United's Preseason Verdict and Stance

The preseason run this summer for Manchester United was quite an impressive one. A run of friendlies that started from Thailand to Australia with with fixtures involving mostly premier league teams with the exception of Melbourne Victory. Though it was a run with a hundred percent win rate but it had quite great results given that Manchester United did not lose a game either, thus giving the fans a hopeful predictive highlight of the forth coming 2022-23 football season for Manchester United.
The summer friendlies featured games against Liverpool in Thailand that ended with an impressive 4-0, a result that raised eyebrows amongst rival fan thus earning the Dutch man Erik Ten Hag a first virtual trophy, The Bangkok Century Cup, being their only game in Thailand. On the next games which all took place in Australia saw the Red Devils made a comeback win against Melbourne Victory to make a 4-1 win in a game that featured the former United star, Louis Nani. There were other games featuring the Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Aston Villa with both ended 2-1 win and a 2-2 draw respectively thus the latter being the only game not won by the Dutch man for Man United.
Thus the summer friendlies did not have a complete winning run for United, but what was impressive about it was that it was an undefeated run for the Red Devils, and for the Dutch man in his role as Manchester United's manager. This run equally showed how better off the team without the want-away star Cristiano Ronaldo, given that he was out of the squad in the summer friendlies given the speculations of his exit from the club.

Thus, the absence of Ronaldo did not pose any setback to the team, and as well showed how good the team is actually. The looks of the squad and performance actually seen and new workable trio for the Dutchman in the persons of Rashford, Martial, and Sancho. Thus with the hope of much more improvement given that the team still has to do some business in the transfer window for the replacement of loop holes left in the squad with the departure of the likes of Lingard and Pogba, and the imminent replacement of Ronaldo.

Thus with the successfull signing of players like Malacia, Martinez, and Eriksen, and the team keeping tabs on other targets like Antony, De Jong, and Timbers, there's hope to bolster the attack and defense as well the predicted improvements in Maguire, Martial and Zidane.
