After 8 good seasons since the 2016 edition which was won for the team by the Dutch man Louis Van Gaal, another Dutch does it again a couple of years later winning the city counterparts Manchester City to grab this.

This is a result no body saw it coming especially the rivals, given that Manchester United were the underdogs and had a really bad season, while City on the other had an awesome season and we're heading for a consecutive double. United against all odds secured their game in the first half, and showcased their best football.

This win takes United to next season's Europa League, given the hopes that the manager can be retained.
