Manchester United have arguably the best squad in Europe but the sad part is they don't know how to put it to good use. The squad is even better than Bayern Munich's
Let's take a look at Bayern Munich and Manchester United's squads and see which squad is better suited for trophies:
Starting with the strikers, Bayern Munich have the blazing hot Robert Lewandowski who just can't seem to stop scoring and Eric Choup Moting while Manchester United boast of the greatest scorer in world football Cristiano Ronaldo and one of the greatest strikers of this generation, Edinson Cavani.
Going over to the wingers, Bayern Munich have Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane while Manchester United have Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Antony Martial and Jesse Lingard. Needless to say Manchester United have better cover on the forwards section.
On the attacking midfielders Bayern Munich have the experienced Thomas Muller while Manchester United have Bruno Fernandes with both putting in impressive figures. When it comes to central midfielders Bayern Munich have the all rounded Leon Goretzka and Correntin Tolisso while Manchester United have Paul Pogba, Donny Van de Beek, Scott Mctominay and Fred while the central defensive midfield area is one where Manchester United really lack as they only have ageing Nemanja Matic while Bayern Munich boast of one of the best central defensive midfielders in the world Joshua Kimmich.
On the defence Bayern Munich boast of a plethora of talent in Benjamin Pavard, Niklaus Sule, Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies and Hernandez while Manchester United have Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Alex Telles, Aaron Wan Bissaka, Diogo Dalot and Victor Lindelof while behind those defences there's experienced goalkeepers in Emmanuel Neuer and David de Gea for Bayern Munich and Manchester United respectively.
It's clear to see that Manchester United's squad can go toe to toe with Bayern Munich but the difference is Bayern Munich have the winning mentality, a clear culture and identity, the drive and the ambition and those are things that money cannot buy
