Break is Over, They're back!

The just finished international break did have remarkable moments within it given that there were more competitive international games being played relative to the friendly international marches. The international break had competitions like the World cup qualifiers for some continental federations and the Nations League for the European side, the UEFA for the selected countries that made it to the finals.

These international break also involved Manchester United given that some players of the club were involved in the international matches being played during the break. The Manchester United players involved in the competitive games during the break were Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, and Raphael Varane for France, and David De Gea for Spain who all made up the For Manchester United players for the two out of the four countries taking part in the UEFA Nations League finals in Italy. Mean while a host of other European nationals of Manchester United like Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and several others that were called up by their respective countries were involved in the World Cup qualifiers during this breaks. Others from other continents like Fred and Cavani went to take part in the matches in South America, while Amad Diallo and Eric Bailly went for Ivory Coast to take part in the World Qualifiers.

Following the performance of Manchester United players during the international break, it was quite an impressive one given that the players of the France football team returned home being crowned as Champions of the UEFA Nations League and these were equally players in the persons of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, and Raphael Varane, a competition in which the two countries of four United players were involved (including David De Gea of Spain), and those like Pogba and Varane equally experiencing adequate playing time with impressive performance, but players like Martial and De Gea were bench warmers in the competition.

In the world cup qualifiers during the break involving players of the team, there was equally absolute performance in the Portuguese side with Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes especially during the game of Portugal against Luxembourg in which Ronaldo scored a hat trick, and Fernandes scoring a goal and having an assist. For England Jadon Sancho recorded two assist against Andorra in a 0-5 away win. In the Euro U21 Qualifiers, Anthony Elanga was equally magnificent as usual for the Swedish U21 side. In South America in the game between Brazil and Uruguay, a tie involving Fred and Edison Cavani, it ended in a 1-0 Brazilian win in which both players performed averagely.

The just ended international break finished with mixed consequences for Manchester United with the return of the players given that some players who were called never played a game and some had just little playing time, and what is more devastating for the team is that the club suffers a huge blow of injury crises involving two of the team's top defenders, Raphaël Varane and Harry Maguire. And as such the club has a heavy set of consecutive games to play in both the Premier League and the Champions League involving top class sides like Leicester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Atalanta... And coupled with the ongoing rumors the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job may be on the line, the manager will have the options of players like Wan Bisaka and Eric Bailly to cover up the current defensive injury crises.
